Terms & Conditions
Reservation deposits and payments:
A non-refundable deposite of $250 per person by check required at time of booking. Bookings made within 60 days of departure are subject to full payment with an expedite fee of $25 per person. Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
Cancellation and Penalties:
Cancellations must be in writing to BAYAZIT Tours & Rentals, 1801 Crystal Dr. Suite 1014, Arlington, VA 22202-4418 and are subject to the following penalties regardless of the cause: within 7 to 30 days prior to departure 30% of the total tour cost. 7 days or less or no-show, full payment becomes non-refundable. BAYAZIT Tours & Rentals reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason, including insufficient number ( we reguire 8 participants as a minumum for each tour in 1997) of participants. If BAYAZIT Tours & Rentals cancels any tour, participants will receive a full refund of money paid.
Refund for unused arrangements:
No refund can be made for any tour accommodation, tour service or tour feature not taken. All claims for refunds must be made through the agent from whom the tour has been purchased within 30 days after tour completion.
Consumer disclosure notice:
BAYAZITours Yacht Cruises & Vacation Rentals and / or their agents, act only as agents for the passenger in regard to travel, boat or plane and assume no liability for injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. They cannot accept responsibility for losses, or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services, sickness, strike, war, quarantine or any other causes. All such losses will be borne by the passenger as tour rates provide for arrangements only for the time stated. The right is reserved to substitute hotels of similiar category for those indicated in the itenerary where deemed necessary or caused by air schedules. The prices are based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect at time of printing (December 1996) and are subject to adjustment in the event of any change therein. The issuance and acceptance of voucher or ticket shall be deemed to be consent to the above conditions. All arrangements for land accommodations and transportation is made by BAYAZITours Yacht Cruises & Vacation Rentals, any dispute arising out of these tours will be settled in the courts of the City of Istanbul.
Airlines clause:
The airlines concerned and their agents and affiliates are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not onboard their aircraft. The passenger ticket in use by said airlines, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of these tickets and/or the passenger.
Important Notice:
BAYAZITours Private Yacht Cruises & Vacation Rentals, reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a tour passenger should such person's health or mental condition or physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights or welfare or enjoyment of other tour members, and refund of unused land tour services is the limit of BAYAZITours Yacht Cruises & Vacation Rentals, liability.
Insurance:
BAYAZITours Yacht Cruises & Vacation Rentals, cannot be responsible or liable for loss, damage or theft of personal luggage and belongings, nor can we be liable for personal injury, accident or illness. In most foreign countries, insurance coverage of personal injury, accident or illness is not always available on the basis of U.S. standards. That is why we strongly urge you to check with your insurance agent to make sure you are adequately covered for eventualities. You can purchase additional insurance from either your insurance broker or your travel agent to cover luggage, personal effects and accident and health. We strongly recommend the purchase of a "Trip interruption and cancellation policy".
Passports/Visa/Vaccinations:
To visit Turkey from the U.S., one needs a valid passport. Vaccinations are not required.
Visas needed by American citizens. On combination tours apply for multiple entry visa. In 1997 single entry visa was offered at the port of entry for a cost of $45.
